Our Story

Built on Trust.
Proven over Time.

Twelve years. Four business chapters. One consistent principle — find where the opportunity is, build the capability to serve it, and do right by the people across the table.

Since 2013

We started small.
On purpose.

Sinan's roots go back to 2013, when the founding team launched an events and exhibitions business in Dubai. It was a different industry — but it taught the same fundamentals: logistics, supplier relationships, deadline pressure, and the cost of letting a client down in front of an audience. Those lessons didn't leave when the business evolved.

Over the next decade the company moved through auto spare parts trading and network technology — each chapter building new supplier networks, new market knowledge, and a deeper understanding of how goods move across borders. By the time we entered commodities, we weren't starting from scratch. We were applying twelve years of operational experience to a larger stage.

In 2026 the business became Sinan General Trading LLC — reflecting where we are today: a full-spectrum trading house operating across six sectors in 30+ countries. The name is new. The discipline behind it isn't.

What Drives Us

Four principles.
Non-negotiable.

Every deal, every shipment, every conversation runs on these. They're not values we put on a wall — they're the ones that cost us business when we hold to them, and keep bringing business back when we do.

Speed without sloppiness.

Markets don't wait. We respond to enquiries within 24 hours with real availability and real numbers — not placeholders. Our operations team is built to execute fast because slow execution costs our clients money.

Say what we mean.

We tell clients when we can't source something, when a price has moved, or when a shipment is running behind. The short-term discomfort of honesty is always less expensive than the long-term cost of a damaged relationship.

Consistent, especially when it's hard.

Supply chains break under pressure. We've maintained supply to clients during sanctions uncertainty, COVID-era port congestion, and commodity price shocks. Reliability isn't a feature — it's the whole point.

Relationships over transactions.

We've turned down deals that would have been profitable but wrong for the client. The clients we have today are mostly the same ones we started with. That's not sentiment — that's the most important metric we track.

Dubai — Jebel Ali port

Our Base

Dubai isn't
coincidental.

We chose Dubai, and we'd choose it again. It sits at the crossroads of the world's most active trade corridors — the Gulf, Central Asia, East Africa, South Asia, and Europe are all within a six-hour flight. Jebel Ali is the largest port in the Middle East and one of the ten busiest container terminals on the planet.

Operating from the UAE also means we sit in a timezone that overlaps with both Asian and European market hours — a practical advantage when commodity prices move and decisions need to be made quickly. Access to bonded warehousing in Jebel Ali Free Zone gives us the physical infrastructure to move cargo when it counts.

How We Work

Three steps.
No black boxes.

Every trade we execute follows the same process. It's not complicated — but it requires doing each step properly.

01

Source

You tell us what you need — commodity, specification, volume, destination, timeline. We go to our supplier network and come back within 24 hours with real availability and indicative pricing. No guesswork.

02

Structure

We handle the paperwork — contracts, letters of credit, compliance checks, shipping documentation, COA, MSDS where required. Our operations team manages the details so your procurement team doesn't have to.

03

Deliver

Cargo moves. You get real-time updates through our logistics team. If something changes — a vessel delay, a port hold, a weather disruption — we tell you immediately and present options. Delivery isn't done until you confirm receipt.
